Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival (Kentville): May 27th to June 1st.
Kingston Farmer’s Market: Opening day on June 4th. Runs every Thursday from 3-7 pm until mid-October.
Kingston Steer BBQ: July 11th and 12th.
Valley Wide Ribfest (Greenwood): July 24th and 25th.
Port George Jamboree: July 25th.
Digby Scallop Days: August 6th to 9th.

Great stopping point! If you need to be in Kingston/Greenwood you can’t beat the value here! So close to everything you need, coffee, food, gas, and right off the highway! The staff are very helpful, and the rooms are nice and clean, with parking right outside your room!

Found this gem by accident, I was supposed to stay at the base, however the accommodation was not suitable, so at 9:45 pm I called these folks, and they had one room left, and they looked right after me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in Greenwood, NS.

My husband, two adults daughters, and I had 2 rooms for 3 nights. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Not many restaurants around but having already spent a lot in restaurants on other days of our trip, we were happy to buy food at the nearby grocery store and eat at the picnic tables! We enjoyed breakfasts at The Green Elephant, a great recommendation from the owner! Thanks for a great stay!
