Pet Policy

We would appreciate you taking the time to review the following guidelines regarding keeping your pet in your guest room during your time at the Aurora Inn.

1. Please keep your pet on a leash at all times when outside of the guest room.
2. Please take a “pick up waste bag” while walking your pet. Complimentary waste bags are available at the reception desk. Picking up after your pet ensures healthy conditions for other pets and it is the local law.
3. Unfortunately, only “assistance guide dogs” are permitted in any public area, which includes but is not limited to the meeting rooms, business centre and lobby.
4. Please do not leave your pet in your guest room unattended, as they may bark and/or whine and disturb the other guests. Take your pet with you when you leave your room.
5. We allow up to two 2 dogs per room with an 80 pound weight limit. Additional pet types (cats, birds etc) may be accepted at our discretion.
6. We regret to have to advise you that should your pet be the cause of a noise or disruption complaint, we may have no alternative but to ask that you make alternate arrangements for their care.
7. As well as not leaving your pet unattended in your guest room, please note that should your pet be present while we are performing routine housekeeping or maintenance in your room, we would ask that it be on leash, or similar restraining device.
8. Please do not allow your pet on our beds or furniture. Extra fees may be levied should there be significant additional cleaning required.
9. It does take our housekeeping staff additional time to clean a guest room that has been also occupied by a pet. There will be an additional fee of $15.00 per pet per day plus tax applied to your guest room bill.

When checking in to the Aurora Inn, our guest(s) agree to abide by our pet policy, and agrees to be responsible for any damage to the property and/or personal injury to any hotel employee and/or any other guest that the pet may cause. The guest(s) also absolves Aurora Inn of any liability if the guest is injured or causes injury to any other guest, or any other guest’s pet.
